Rules and registration vary by country
Plug-in balcony solar and battery storage are regulated at the national level, so the exact rules differ from country to country. Across much of the EU, plug-in systems up to 800 W of inverter output are treated as a simplified standard case β a normal wall socket is allowed and no electrician is needed β but the power cap, panel limit and paperwork depend on where you live. Before installing in Estonia, check your grid operator's plug-in solar rules and register the system (and, in most countries, the battery as a separate unit) wherever local law requires it.
