How our content is created
We use AI tools to help draft, edit, and maintain the articles, guides, and interface text on Elewatt. AI assistance is what lets a small team keep content accurate and up to date across many countries and languages. AI is a drafting tool, not a publisher: no article goes live automatically or without human involvement.
Human review
Every article is reviewed by a human editor before publication. The review covers the substance of the content — figures, tariffs, technical claims, and recommendations — not just spelling and grammar. If content is substantively changed after review, it is reviewed again before going live.
Editorial responsibility
Elewatt is operated by Lindau OÜ. Editorial responsibility for everything published on this site rests with its maintainer, Reedik Lindau. This combination of human review and editorial responsibility is how Elewatt meets the transparency requirements for AI-assisted content under Article 50 of the EU Artificial Intelligence Act.
Sources and accuracy
Electricity prices come from official market data (ENTSO-E). Grid tariffs, taxes, and fees cite their sources and are re-verified periodically; where a value is provisional or awaiting verification, we say so on the page. If you spot an error, we want to hear about it.
Translations
Elewatt is published in more than 20 languages. Translations are produced with AI assistance following per-language style guidelines and fall under the same editorial responsibility. If a translation is ever unclear, the English version is the reference.
