Terms and Conditions

By using Elewatt you agree to these terms.

Data usage

We store user data for functional purposes only. Data can be deleted at any time by deleting your account.

Account deletion

Deleting your account removes all associated data from our systems.

Cookies

We use necessary cookies for core functionality (login, security, preferences). For usage analytics we use Vercel Analytics, operated by Vercel Inc. — it is cookieless and privacy-friendly, collecting only anonymised data such as pages visited, session duration, and country. No analytics cookies are set on your device. You can manage your preferences at any time by clicking "Cookie settings" in the footer.

Integrations access

Only you have access to your Shelly devices and other connected integrations.

Use at your own risk

All services provided by Elewatt are used at your own discretion and risk. Elewatt provides energy management tools on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee specific financial savings, and any calculations, recommendations, or automated actions are estimates based on available data. Users are responsible for verifying that automated schedules and device controls are appropriate for their specific situation.

Service reliability

While we do everything in our power to make Elewatt as reliable as possible, there are forces beyond our control that may occasionally affect service. Internet outages, device firmware issues, electricity spot price publication delays, and third-party API changes (Elering, Shelly Cloud, Home Assistant) can cause schedules not to be published or devices not to respond as expected. If you experience any issues, please let us know on the Ask Reedik feedback page so we can investigate and improve.

Subscriptions and payments

Elewatt offers a permanent Free plan and paid subscription plans (Home and Business) that add capacity for more contracts, filters and devices. Current plans, limits and prices are shown at the Pricing page; Home plan prices include VAT, Business plan prices exclude VAT, which is added at checkout based on your billing country. Payments are recurring card payments processed by Stripe and invoiced by Lindau OÜ (Estonia). Subscriptions renew automatically — monthly, or yearly where a yearly option was chosen — until cancelled. Applicable VAT is calculated automatically; business customers with a valid EU VAT ID are invoiced under the reverse-charge mechanism where applicable. You can upgrade, downgrade or change plan add-ons at any time; price differences are prorated on your next invoice. A downgrade requires your current usage to fit within the new plan's limits. Plan limits apply to adding new contracts, filters or devices; existing contracts and filters keep working even if a downgrade or cancellation leaves you above the new limits. For devices, price-based automation runs on your oldest devices up to the new plan's limit — devices beyond it stay on your account and can be controlled manually, but are paused until you upgrade or remove devices. Accounts created before subscription plans were introduced keep unlimited device automation free of charge. You can cancel anytime from Account → Plan & billing (Manage billing). Your paid plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, after which the account returns to the Free plan; nothing is deleted. Except where consumer law provides otherwise, already-paid periods are not refunded. If you are an EU consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the initial purchase; by starting the subscription immediately you agree that, on withdrawal, a proportional amount may be charged for the service already provided. To request a refund or exercise your right of withdrawal, contact reedik@elewatt.eu or use the in-app support chat; refunds go back to the original payment method. If a renewal payment fails, Stripe retries the charge over several days; if payment ultimately cannot be collected, the subscription is cancelled and the account returns to the Free plan under the same rules as above. Prices may change; existing subscribers are notified by email at least 30 days in advance, and changes take effect from the next billing period.

Sponsorship

Elewatt's Free plan is funded by paid subscriptions and an optional sponsorship programme aimed at companies and individuals who want to support the project — sponsorship is never required to use the platform, and end users are not affected by who is or isn't a sponsor. All sponsorships are invoiced by Lindau OÜ (an Estonian VAT-registered company owned by the maintainer) as a B2B advertising service, with 24% Estonian VAT or — for EU companies with a valid VAT ID — under the reverse-charge mechanism. Each sponsorship runs for one calendar year from the date of payment and is not auto-renewed; if you wish to continue, you'll receive a new invoice the following year. Sponsors may choose to be listed publicly on the supporter wall (with name, optional website link, and optional logo) or to remain fully private; the choice is made on the inquiry form and can be changed later by emailing the maintainer. Sponsorships are non-refundable once invoiced, but a sponsor may at any time request to be removed from the public wall, with no effect on the underlying invoice or the service itself.
