evcc
evcc is the open-source charging controller that decides when your wallbox charges. Give it Elewatt's price feed and it plans charging around your real electricity cost — spot price plus grid fee, taxes and VAT for your own contract — instead of raw market prices.
What you get
What evcc is
evcc runs at home on a Raspberry Pi, a NAS or in Docker and sits between your wallbox, your electricity meter and, optionally, your car. It supports hundreds of chargers and most car brands through their connected-car accounts. With a dynamic tariff configured, its planner charges in the cheapest hours before your departure time, or only below a price limit you set. The tariff is just a list of price slots — and that list can come from Elewatt.
Why not evcc's built-in market tariffs?
evcc ships tariff sources for ENTSO-E, Elering, Tibber and others, but they deliver the raw exchange price. What you pay per kWh also includes your grid operator's fee, which is often cheaper at night, plus excise, levies and VAT. In many markets the grid fee swings the ranking of hours more than the spot price does. Elewatt already computes that final price for your contract, and the feed hands it to evcc slot by slot.
The snippet you paste
Elewatt generates this for each feed with your own URL filled in. Paste it under the top-level tariffs section of evcc.yaml, remove any existing grid tariff, and restart evcc.

About five minutes if evcc is already running. The feed is tied to one of your Elewatt contracts, so add the contract first if you have not.
Add a feed in Elewatt
Open Connections, then evcc, and press the plus button. Give the feed a name such as Garage wallbox and pick the contract whose prices it should carry. Each feed counts as one device on your plan.
Copy the URL or the ready snippet
The editor stays open after saving and shows the feed URL and a ready-made evcc.yaml block with your URL already inside. Copy whichever you prefer. The New URL button issues a fresh secret if you ever need to revoke the old one.
Paste into evcc.yaml and restart
Put the block under the top-level tariffs section. If evcc already has a grid tariff, replace it — evcc accepts only one. Keep currency set to EUR, then restart evcc.
Check the price in evcc
Open the evcc web interface. The current grid price appears in the header and the tariff chart shows today's and tomorrow's slots. The numbers should match the chart on your Elewatt evcc page, since both come from the same calculation.
Let the planner choose the hours
Set a charging plan such as 20 kWh by 07:00, or a price limit under Cheap grid charging. evcc marks the cheapest slots from the feed and charges in them. Back in Elewatt, the feed row shows when evcc last polled.
