Frequently asked questions

Is Elewatt still free to use?
Yes. The Free plan covers a full setup — one contract, five automation filters and one smart device — with no time limit and no card required. Paid plans only add capacity.
What counts as a device?
Each smart device you connect for price-based automation counts once, across all integrations: Shelly, Daikin, Nibe, Tuya, Samsung SmartThings, eWeLink and Home Assistant entities.
What happens when I reach a plan limit?
Everything you already created keeps working — automations are never switched off. You just can't add new contracts, filters or devices beyond the limit until you upgrade or remove something.
I already have more devices than my plan allows. Will they stop working?
No. Existing setups are grandfathered: anything created before the limits were introduced keeps running exactly as before. Limits only apply to adding new things.
How does payment work? Can I cancel anytime?
Payments are handled by Stripe — credit or debit card, charged monthly (or yearly on the Home plan) with VAT applied automatically. You can cancel anytime; your plan stays active until the end of the paid period.
Can I change my Business plan size later?
Yes. You can add or remove extra devices and contracts at any time — changes are prorated on your next invoice.
