Which Shelly devices are supported?

Any Shelly device that's connected to Shelly Cloud. The Live tariff flows into your Shelly account's Electricity Tariff field, which every modern Shelly device can read — Plug S Gen3, Plus 1 / Plus 1PM / Plus 2PM, Pro 1 / Pro 2 / Pro 3 / Pro 4PM, Pro 3EM and EM, Outdoor Plug S, even older Gen1 plugs. If it's in your Shelly app, it'll see the price.

How often does the tariff update?

Every 15 minutes. Elewatt's cron pushes the current all-in c/kWh price to your Shelly Cloud Electricity Tariff 96 times a day. Shelly Cloud rate-limits tariff updates to once per minute, so 15 minutes is well within their limit and gives every device on your account the freshest price for any logic you build on the Shelly side.

Is the price the raw spot price, or the full all-in price?

The full all-in price. Elewatt combines the Nord Pool / EPEX day-ahead spot price with your contract's grid fee, the renewable energy fee, excise duty, VAT, and your supplier's margin (if you're on a stock-price contract). The number that lands on your Shelly Electricity Tariff is what you actually pay per kWh — no extra math required.

Which countries and price areas are supported?

Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Sweden (all SE zones), Denmark (DK1 + DK2), Norway (all NO zones), Poland, Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, France and Italy, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Greece, Bulgaria, Croatia, Switzerland. Spot prices come from ENTSO-E (Nord Pool for the Nordics + Baltics, EPEX for Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium and Italy, OMIE for Spain) and Elewatt applies your country's grid fees, taxes and VAT automatically based on the contract you pick.

Add your electricity contract

In Elewatt, go to Contracts and add your tariff: country and price area, grid fee, day/night tariff if relevant, and VAT. This is what we use to calculate the all-in price your Shelly device will show. Stock-price contract? We add the supplier margin too.

Get your Shelly Electricity Tariff API URL

In Shelly Cloud (cloud.shelly.com), open Energy → Electricity Tariff, switch the tariff to Live, and copy the API URL at the bottom of the panel. It looks like https://shelly-XX-eu.shelly.cloud/v2/users/.../… — this is the only thing Elewatt needs to push prices to your account. No API key, no OAuth.

In Elewatt, open Connections → Shelly Price API — it is its own card, and it is free. Paste the API URL into "Price update URL", pick which contract's pricing should be sent under "Contract", and click Save. Then hit "Push price now" to send the current price straight away, which is the quickest way to confirm it works.

Open the Shelly Smart Control app or your Shelly Cloud dashboard and head back to Energy → Electricity Tariff. Within 15 minutes you should see the Live tariff update with the latest all-in price.
